Our nursery is offered for infants
& toddlers under two years of age. It's available during both
services and is staffed with experienced volunteers. We maintain
a ratio of one adult per three children, although it is often higher
than that. Our nursery is not just babysitting either! Depending
on their age, the kids engage in simple activities and songs that
help them grow and develop.
What to Expect:
We know that leaving your new baby for the first time can be a little
overwhelming. Our nursery volunteers have been carefully chosen
for this age group because of their love for babies. They are there
to serve you and make sure that your child has a pleasant experience.
To assist in this effort we ask parents to help us by making sure
you have the following when you drop off your child.
- Bring diapers, wipes, bottles, sippie cups, pacifiers
or any special blankets/cuddle toys that will sooth your baby.
We do have some limited supplies, but its always better to use
those from home.
- Please label all items and diaper bags. Labels
are available in the nursery.
- Inform the volunteers if your child has any food
allergies or special dietary needs.
- Please do not bring your child to the nursery
if they are sick or showing symptoms of illness.
Pagers are available for your use during services.
When you drop off your child they will be given a nametag with a
corresponding pager #. You take the pager with you to worship so
we can easily reach you if needed.

Special Events
| Infant Dedication |
As a Christian parent your most
important task is to raise your children according to the ways
of God. We want to partner with you in this endeavor. This is
why we host an infant dedication ceremony each February for
all children born during the last year. It reminds all of us
(both parents and congregation) of the significant obligations
we share in bringing up our children in the Lord. If you wish
to be included in this ceremony please contact the
church office. |
