Russ
Adcox, Senior Minister.
Russ joined the Maury Hills family in October of 2004. He
grew up in Hohenwald, TN and he and his wife, Jenny, have
two girls--Lilly and Halle Jane. Russ earned degrees from
Lipscomb University and Harding University Graduate School
of Religion. Before coming to Maury Hills he served as a
Youth Minister for the Southwest Church in Jonesboro, AR
and General Manager of Retail for Highland Corp in Hohenwald,
TN. Russ is also a member of the Columbia Noon Rotary Club
and serves on the Board of Directors at Zion
Christian Academy and The
King's Daughter's School. When he's not working, you'll
find Russ in the woods or on the river. Visit

Todd
Loyd, Student Minister.
Todd joined the Maury Hills family in May of 2007. He grew
up in Nashville, TN and he and his wife, Amanda, have three
boys--Brock, Battle and Brewer. Todd earned his B.A. from
Lipscomb University in 1994. He then spent 12 years in Russellville,
KY as a Youth Minister for the Crittenden Drive Church of
Christ. Todd also serves on the Board of Directors for Lipscomb
University's
Impact and the National
Conference on Youth Ministry. He teaches for several retreats
and conferences around the country. |

Sherri
Mitchener, Administrative & Member
Care. Sherri was one of the original members
of Maury Hills and has worked on staff since October of 2001.
Prior to accepting the position at Maury Hills, she served
as an Administrative Assistant at the Highland Church of Christ
for 15 years. She is a life-long resident of Columbia and
a graduate of Columbia Central High School. In her spare time
she enjoys flea markets and yard sales.

Dana
Spivy, Children's Minister.
Dana joined the family at Maury
Hills in February of 2010. She grew up in northeast Louisiana
and has a B.A. in Mass Communication from Louisiana State
University. Prior to moving to Columbia, Dana served as the
Children's Minister for Rochester Church of Christ in Rochester
Hills, MI and East Cobb Church of Christ in Marietta, GA.
She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Christian
Education Association. When Dana isn't busy with volunteers
and families, she enjoys cooking, a good cup of coffee and
traveling. |

Christopher
Taylor, Worship Leader.
Christopher and his family came to Maury Hills in 2003.
He began serving as volunteer worship leader in 2005 and joined
the staff in 2008. Christopher has earned degrees from Lipscomb
University and Gupton Mortuary College. He and Marcey were
married in May 1989 and have two children--Russell and Cynthia.
In addition to his work with the church, he is the director
of the Cremation
& Burial Society of Tennessee, Associate Advisor for
Venture Crew 007 (chartered by Maury Hills) and Chapter Advisor
for the Order of the Arrow with the Boy
Scouts of America. |
