The New Tesatment Challenge
Welcome to the New Testament Challenge!
The whole idea behind this challenge is to get our church into the
Word of God. Many of us have staked our entire lives on the New
Testament but ironically we’ve never read it. That’s
about to change. Over the next 9 weeks you’ll dig into God’s
Word in ways that you never have before. You learn more about the
story of Jesus and why this book of ancient letters is still relevant
today. Our prayer is that you’ll walk away with a better understanding
of the Bible and a deeper faith in God.

Helpful Tips:
• Make it a
habit! Set aside a 15 minute time where you’ll be uninterrupted
(morning, lunch hour or bedtime) and try to keep the same routine.
• Read a translation you can understand. Try the New International
Version (NIV), English Standard Version (ESV) or New Living Translation
(NLT).
• Don’t get bogged down with specific verses or issues.
Remember, we’re reading for the “big picture.”
For that reason, it may help to read in a Bible without study notes.
• Get an accountability partner. (a spouse, friend, etc.)
• If you fall behind, don’t worry. Just keep reading
and stick with it!
• Let us know how it goes. Share your story with us at russ@mauryhills.com
