Registration—assist families on Sunday Mornings.
Time Commitment: 20 minutes weekly (before worship)
Skills Needed: Able to help families feel welcome, detail oriented.

Door Safety Guard—insuring our students are released to the person with a coordinating tag.
Time Commitment: 15 minutes weekly (as soon as worship concludes)
Skills Needed: Able to focus on the child’s safety, much like a crossing guard!

Are you an organizer, handy with crafts, able to design/build?

Basket Organizer—gathering supplies for week's lesson.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes weekly
Skills Needed: Able to gather supplies, come up with crafts, set up for teacher.

Set Design and Build—design, build, assemble or paint for props/decorations/special events.
Time Commitment: Flexible
Skills Needed: building, construction, artistic, painting, etc.

Do you have a heart for kids and are willing to get involved with their lives?

Shepherding—working with a group of 6-10 children to create bonds and help them connect.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes weekly
Skills Needed: Able to get involved in the children’s lives, lead children in discussion, help them apply the message.

Do you have a heart for children with special needs?

Special Needs Friends Ministry—assisting with special needs children.
Time Commitment: one hour weekly
Skills Needed: A heart for children with special needs.

Are you a leader? Can you engage children in large group settings?

Host—assist with the large group, may also interact with the storyteller some.
Time Commitment: A little prep time and one hour on Sunday
Skills Needed: Able to lead the group in the details of the large group session.

Storyteller—creatively tells the story of the day.
Time Commitment: A little prep time and 10 minutes on Sunday
Skills Needed: Able to take the storyline and make it come alive in children’s terms

Worship Leader—lead children in worship (can use a DVD).
Time Commitment: 10 minutes
Skills Needed: Able to lead fun, exciting worship songs to help kids understand they are praising God

Drama—write, prepare or present skits in a creative way
Time Commitment: Flexible
Skills Needed: creativity, drama, willingness to have fun!!

Puppets—perform skits on occasion (puppets and skits supplied).
Time Commitment: 10 minutes
Skills Needed: creativity, drama, willingness to have fun!!

Do you have a heart for kids but are involved in other ministries?

Prayer Team—commit to praying once a month for specific areas of our Children’s Ministry.
Time Commitment: Flexible
Skills Needed: A heart for God and children.

Financial Sponsorship—When we take trips, attend camp, etc., there are often children who do not have the full funds. This involves supplementing them on an occasional basis.
Time Commitment: None
Skills Needed: Heart for children to experience God through their local church’s efforts
