KidStuf
is a family-centered, kid-focused production that uses drama, music,
video, and creative storytelling to teach values that we all want
our children to embrace. It's designed to promote interaction between
children and parents. Our hope is that through Kidstuf our kids
get a basic intro to the "virtue of the month" and then
those values are instilled and developed in the home. That's why
its important for the whole family to be there! Plus, it's a great
time for everyone! Kidstuf is held the first Wednesday of every
month at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center.
Blast
is, well, a blast! Here's how it
works. The first Wednesday of each month we host Kidstuf (see above).
Then the following Wednesdays of the month we meet in small groups
for further study and application of the virtue. On those nights
we meet in the Worship Center at 6:30 for a "briefing from
Mission Control" then it's off to small groups (or "flight
training school").
Summer
Surge is something totally different for Wednesday nights.
Every summer we take a break from our small groups and just have
family time. Each week is something different. Last summer we enjoyed
a concert in the park, movie night, prayer walk, game night, service
night and of course the big swim party at the YMCA. Summers are
all about fun and relaxation. It's also a great time to form relationships
with other families at the church. The Summer Surge schedule will
be released later in the year.
